Juiced 2 hot import is just another run of the mill racer which you collect cars, tune them up and race against other tuned cars to earn money. Nevertheless the tracks are good. The handling is ok too, and the graphics are great lush 3D.

You will find most of the game modes you come to expect from games like this. The career mode is split up into 10 categories, each of which contain a number of different tracks, with events such as eliminator, perfect lap, and drift challenges. Winning the events is you’re main goal, but you also need to do specific challenges to unlock new cars and move on. These goals include winning bets tailgating certain opponents, and scoring points drifting. As you go through career mode you will unlock cars, parts upgrades paint jobs. Good cars on offer such as Mitsubishi, and lotus, complete with nitrous oxide.

Handling is best described as loose, forgiving, and heavy to drift round corners when you need to. Crashing into guard rails doesn’t slow you down too much. You get plenty of nitro to play with. The tracks are a bit small, but have satisfying straits and bends that will give you hours of driving fun. Each race has 4 drivers, the tracks are small so 4 is ok

AI is sometimes predictable and robotic, and the opponents race the same line all the time. They finish in the same order every time too. One interesting part is you can pressure other opponents off course. The predictable AI doesn’t kill all of the fun, but still a bit disappointing. Multiplayer mode is better but you’ll need 2 copies of the game as it doesn’t support download play.

Overall I am pleased with the game but it could have been a better. The graphics are the best thing about this game. Still worthy of any racing fans collection. I got mine for $25 in blockbuster, but can be found at game, HMV, blockbuster.
